Prince Harry drops Netflix bombshell during Late Show interview
Prince Harry dropped a major Netflix bombshell during his latest appearance on The Late Show. The 41-year-old is no stranger to television appearances since his decision to step away from royal life in 2020, as he has spoken out about a number of topics which could upset his royal relatives.

Speaking to host Stephen Colbert, Harry openly revealed that he has watched Netflix’s The Crown. The Royal Family are said to feel that the show’s portrayal is historically inaccurate, with the likes of the Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly having never watched the show. In one part of his new interview, Harry paused and looked to the crowd after being asked by the host if he had watched the show.

He then said: “There’s people laughing at that – yes, I have actually watched The Crown.” Stephen then asked if he had watched the “recent stuff or the older stuff,” to which Harry replied, “The older stuff and the more recent stuff.” Joking asking Harry, in reponse to claims that the show is inaccurate, Stephen then continued: “Do you fact-check it while you watch it?” Harry then jokingly pretended to take out a notepad and mimed taking notes before laughing: “Yes, I do actually.”

After sharing a laugh over Harry’s honesty, he also took the time to reference his memoir, Spare, and the importance of history having it “right”. Pointing to the copy of Spare that Stephen was holding, Harry added, “Yes, I do actually. Which, by the way, is another reason why it’s so important that history has it right.”
In addition to discussing the press releasing excerpts of the book before its release, Harry shared that he is glad he released Spare. He claimed that although the press may not be supportive of the book, it was important to him that he got to tell his story.
