Kate's Candid Revelation About Her Cancer Fight Will Move You

Prince William has every right to ignore the criticism of his wife’s photo editing and move on. Prince William has seemingly taken it upon himself to continue on as normal amid the latest scandal to brace the Royal Family.

The Princess of Wales was thrust into the spotlight last week after a photograph of her and her children – released to mark Mother’s Day on March 10 – caught the attention of royal watchers. Within hours of its release, many errors in the image were noted – including part of Princess Charlotte’s wrist being removed. The mother-of-three took the blame, personally apologising via a statement released on the couple’s social media platforms.

The statement read that Kate, herself, had “experienced” with editing, with the royal apologising for any “confusion” the image had caused. One week on from Kate’s apology, William has remained silent on the matter – something I believe he has every right to do. Questions are likely to have arisen as to why William has stayed so quiet, with royal expert Jennie Bond telling OK! that William will likely be feeling “guilty” for not being able to protect his wife.

William, who has taken some time away from duties for the most part of this year to care for his young family, really doesn’t have anything to apologise for. He is protecting Kate every day, and has ensured that he’s been firmly by her side throughout her surgery and recovery period. The heir should not be feeling guilty for how the photo row unfolded, as no one would be able to protect their spouse from the onslaught that has unfolded.

It was Kate who openly admitted to the mistake, and although William will be wanting to protect his wife, it’s right for him to let her take the lead in apologising on this account. William is said to have been the one behind the lens of the sweet Mother’s Day photo, which offered fans an insight into how much the children have grown since the last time we saw them.

However, the image was seemingly out of his hands, with William not at fault for what happened afterwards. It’s time to put the photo row behind us and focus on the future of new photographs of the future King and Queen and their children.
