Prince William’s adorable seven-word comment about Princess Kate’s ‘warm heart’

The Prince of Wales once made an adorable seven-word comment about his wife Princess Kate at an event in Wales. Prince William melted hearts with a sweet seven-word phrase about his wife, Princess Kate, in Wales on St David’s Day back in 2022. Yesterday, March 1, was all about celebrating St David, the patron saint of Wales, which is really important to William and Kate. Their Royal titles include Wales, and they lived there when they first got married.

Prince George was even a little baby when they stayed in Wales while William was an RAF Valley pilot. In the past, William and Kate have visited Wales for St David’s Day. Two years ago, in 2022, they walked around Abergavenny and talked to fans who were incredibly excited to see them, even though it was very cold. But on this chilly day, Prince William said something very sweet about Kate. He told someone after shaking their hand: “She has the coldest hands ever”, reports The Mirror Online.

In a sweet seven-word statement, he added: “But they say ‘cold hands, warm heart’.” This St David’s Day was a bit different because Kate is continuing to recover from planned abdominal surgery she underwent last month. She won’t trturn to royal duties until after Easter and is resting at home in Windsor. Just this week, there was news about how she’s doing after William had to miss a royal event for a private reason. Prince William was scheduled to attend a memorial service for his godfather, the late King Constantine of Greece, at Windsor Castle on Tuesday. However, he chose not to go.

A Royal insider clarified that this decision was not related to Princess Kate’s health, stating: “The Princess of Wales continues to be doing well.” William has since resumed his royal duties, expressing his concern about the increasing antisemitism in the country on Thursday, while on Friday he travelled around Wales on a series of visits, including a trip to The Turf pub next to Wrexham AFC’s stadium, visiting schoolchildren at a local school nearby, and finally visiting the memorial to the Gresford Mining Disaster.

Kate was supposed to accompany William to the synagogue for the visit, which was arranged to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day. Mrs Salt remembered the Princess when she spoke with William, saying: “I’m sure if your wife would have been well she would have been here I miss her so much, give her my best wishes.” Prince William listened to young people talk about the scary rise of hate on Britain’s streets that has made Jewish students feel very afraid. He told them firmly: “Well, you’ve heard it from me, antisemitism has no place in society, you’ve heard that from me OK I’ve said that before and I’ll say it again.”

He also said: “And hearing all … your lived experiences both Catherine and I are extremely concerned about the rise in antisemitism that you guys have talked about so eloquently this morning, and I’m just so sorry you’ve had to experience that, it has no place and it shouldn’t happen. So that’s why I’m here today to reassure you all that people do care, people do listen and we can’t let that keep going.”
