According to a royal reporter, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly asked King Charles III for a “one-to-one” meeting in order to “clear the air” before returning to California.
A “very good source” allegedly told entertainment and royal reporter Neil Sean that Meghan Markle?s request was made in a formal letter. Neil Sean has appeared on NBC News, MSNBC, and Access Hollywood. “She’d now like (to), before they return back to California, to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III,” Mr Sean said in a video posted on YouTube. “That’s right, Meghan one-to-one with King Charles III. You heard correct.”
“And what’s interesting here is. According to that good source, this was made in a formal letter, this is how you write to the King. Now you have to admire Meghan’s self-belief, whatever you think,” he added. Sean said the letter would be “an opportunity to clear the air, put the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they’ve been doing over the last two years”. “Truthfully we have no idea if this is going to go forward,” he said. “It’s a very brave move from Meghan herself.”
Meghan Markle’s actions during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral
The Duchess of Sussex paid a moving homage to her grandmother-in-law while maintaining a low profile throughout Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral procession. The mother-of-two arrived at Westminster Hall for the service on Monday wearing an all-black ensemble, matching heels in the same hue, and a wide-brimmed hat.
She took sure, however, to pay tribute to Her Majesty by donning a set of glistening diamond earrings, which she had received when she was still a working member of the royal family. During the contentious interview with Oprah Winfrey last year, Meghan previously highlighted how much the earrings meant to her.
“The Queen, for example, has always been wonderful to me. I mean, we had one of our first joint engagements together. She asked me to join her,” she said. “We had breakfast together that morning, and she’d given me a beautiful gift, and I just really loved being in her company. And I remember we were in the car. She gave me some beautiful pearl earrings and a matching necklace.”
