A royal expert has claimed that the couple have reinstated their royal titles in the new website to gain “publicity”.A royal expert has claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new website reveals their dependency on the Royal Family as they opt to use their royal titles.
The new website – giving updates on Meghan and Harry – says in the ‘About’ section: “The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is shaping the future through business and philanthropy.” Speaking to Talk TV, Rupert Bell said: “[The website] is pretty self indulgent and it does reflect their overriding depending on their royal connection.
“The crest is definitely hinting that they are part of the Royal Family – something they don’t want to be part of. They need the Royal Family for publicity. They don’t want to be part of it but they need it desperately.” The website also displays Meghan’s official coat of arms that she helped design instead of their joint crest.
Quietly launched on Monday, the site is filled with information on the patronages the couple holds and the causes they support as well as their business ventures, like Archewell Productions – through which they have produced shows like Heart of Invictus.
