Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 'desperate straits' over their future

Lady Colin Campbell has suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are increasingly appearing in public because their deal with Netflix is “in danger”. Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, are in “desperate straits” as they come to terms with the prospect of no reconciliation with the rest of the Royal Family, Lady Colin Campbell has claimed.

Since King Charles III announced he would be temporarily out of action following his cancer diagnosis earlier this year, the couple has stepped up their public appearances, with the Prince having even briefly returned to the UK. The recent activity has given rise to rumours that the couple may be seeking to reconcile with the royals following their messy departure to the US in 2020.

But their hopes have been dashed by royal biographer Lady C, who has said the chances of a reconciliation are “laughable”. When asked whether his recent moves suggest he could reconcile with his family, Lady Colin Cambpell said the couple is in “desperate straits” as their Netflix deal is “in danger”.

The royal author told GB News: “Harry and Meghan are in desperate straits at the moment. They are looking at a very empty diary for the future.” She added: “Their deal with Netflix is in danger, and it’s either going to be revised tremendously downwards for them, or it’s going to be terminated.”
