Queen Camilla mirrors two beloved royals to ensure she ‘won’t crumble under pressure’
One body language expert has likened Queen Camilla to two very popular members of the Royal Family. Queen Camilla mirrors two much-loved royals to ensure that she “won’t crumble under pressure”, according to a body language expert.
Mr Stanton added that the Queen, who celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary with King Charles on Tuesday, also “echoes” traits of the late Queen Elizabeth II and “strong” Princess Anne. Speaking of their likeness to Elizabeth II, he said: “The ways in which she interacts with people during engagements is similar to the late Queen. You wouldn’t be able to spot many differences between them.”
Like Anne, he added: “She echoes similar traits to Princess Anne, in that she’s a strong woman who won’t crumble under pressure.” Discussing the Queen’s latest appearances – especially those she has had to undertake solo – Mr Stanton said: “While analysing Camilla’s latest appearances, it’s clear she is feeling confident and strong. “She’s now in a position where she feels comfortable taking on duties alone without Charles. She carries herself with ease with no signs of nerves or discomfort.”
He added: “Camilla’s appearances are always executed with confidence, boldness and a lot of self-belief. She holds her head high with her shoulders back. “There’s no sense of rushing, which tells us she is happy to take things in her stride and doesn’t feel pressured.” The Queen has stepped out on engagements solo recently after King Charles’s shock cancer diagnosis in February.
The King shocked the nation after he revealed that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer on February 5. King Charles, 75, is currently taking time away from public-facing duties as he continues treatment, whilst the Queen carries on as normal. Mr Stanton previously analysed Camilla’s appearance at the King’s Coronation last year, adding that she appeared quite “tense”.
At the time, Mr Stanton said: “As it went on we saw her relax more and more. “Once it ended she looked, not entirely relieved, but there was a sense of calm…” The Queen recently stepped out alongside the King at the Easter Sunday service in Windsor on March 31. This marked the King’s first appearance at a major event since his diagnosis in February.
