EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle dressed casually in grey jeans and a jumper as she headed for dinner with Oprah Winfrey’s production boss at an exclusive restaurant last night. Meghan Markle was all smiles last night as she headed out for a sushi dinner with the boss of Oprah Winfrey’s production company at Asanebo Restaurant in Los Angeles.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, dressed casually in dark grey skinny jeans and a matching jumper with her long brunette locks in loose curls as she stepped out without her husband Prince Harry. Meghan is understood to have dined with Terry Woods, the Executive Producer of Oprah’s Harpo Productions company.
She is credited with Oprah’s mental health series that Prince Harry also collaborated on, The Me You Can’t See. Ms Wood also worked on Harry and Meghan’s CBS special interview with the couple after they abandoned royal duties. According to reports, the exeuctive producer was reported to be possibly working with the Duchess on a second season of her podcast after high-profile employee, Rebecca Sananes left the brand in late 2022. Their appearance together last night will undoubtedly spark rumours that Meghan and Oprah are planning to team up for a new venture in the coming months.
Meghan Markle looked in high spirits as she stepped out for an evening meal on Thursday. She decided to dress casually for the occasion, in skinny jeans with a washed out detail and a knitted jumper that she tucked into her trousers. The Duchess wore minimal make up and accessorised with ballet pumps and a Goyard Bellechasse Biaude PM bag worth £2894 ($3,670). Meghan Markle wore her trademark brunette locks down, after debuting a new hairstyle in Canada last week. She tweaked her colouring slightly, opting for a fresh and deep chocolate chestnut brown.
Her colourist, Kadi Lee of Highbrow Hippie Atelier, in Los Angeles, took to Instagram, to explain how she achieved her new look. She said: “Chocolate chestnut brunette, for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex for Invictus Games. “This mixture of red and golden undertones makes a dynamic shade of brunette that not only gives skin the healthiest glow, especially during the colder months of winter, it also provides the hair with a next level high power shine.”
Meghan Markle opted for natural make-up for her evening rendezvous. Her skin looked dewy with a hint of bronzer on her cheeks with highlighter over the top. She wore minimal mascara and showcased her new fuller brows. On her lips, Meghan appeared to use a clear gloss. When leaving the restaurant later on, Meghan was seen wearing her grey woolen coat as she approached her car. The jacket featured a belt which she decided to leave open as she was ushered to the vehicle by her security team. Earlier in the day she was spotted eating lunch at Cipriani Beverly Hills with the designer of her wedding dress, former Givenchy creative director Clare Waight Keller. Asanebo is a restaurant with a celebrity following that counts Ariana Grande and George Clooney among its A-list regulars. The swanky venue has dishes priced up to $48, while bottles of Champagne cost up to $900.
