King Charles warned against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘low blows’ against royals

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex allegedly made comments against the House of Windsor, which – once again – sparked outrage. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continue to ruffle feathers in the Royal Family and all their watchers — but a royal expert says that King Charles is the one who has the “high ground” in this situation, and mustn’t resort to the Sussex’s alleged “low blow” attacks.

Speaking to GBN News, Dr. Ed Owens claims that the Sussexes — who haven’t publicly commented on the monarch since speaking to Oprah Winfrey several years ago — need to carry on in a “dignified manner,” because that’s what the king is doing. “All they can do is carry on in a dignified manner as possible,” he said. “If the Royal Family wants to come to light with any new story, this might prove that Harry and Meghan’s complaints about the Royal Family were true.”

Dr. Owens believes that the true threat to the image of the Royal family doesn’t come from Meghan Markle, but from Prince Harry himself. Dr. Owens acknowledges that the younger Prince did more damage to the brand with the success of Spare than with any “tell all” interview the couple have done in the past, or will do in the future. “Harry said that there were members of the family that were essentially briefing against him,” he revealed.

“Now, what the remaining members of the House of Windsor don’t want to do is to have those stories proven true by behaving in some way where they’re found out.” “The Royal Family must not deign to the low blow strategy adopted by Harry and Meghan,” he concluded. A recent Time Magazine poll revealed that the popularity of the British monarchy is declining, with younger people all but clamoring for a more republican movement.

Despite only 29 percent of all British people believing that the monarchy is “very important,” Dr. Owens believes that sticking to the old fashioned way of doing things will translate well with younger Britons. “They’ve got to maintain a distance at a dignified silence, however difficult that might be,” he said.
