Angelina Jolie is a popular American actress who was born on 4th June 1975. Jolie has won several awards due to her outstanding performances, including an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards along with this she was also named as one of the highest-paid actresses by Forbes.
But Angelina didn’t earn everything over a night. Jolie came from a family who had an acting background, both her parents Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand are actors. After Jolie’s parents got divorced, the actress used to watch movies with her mother which budded her interest in acting but Angelina dropped out of acting school when she was 14 years old with the aim to become a fashion director.
But acting was meant for Jolie, two years later the actress graduated from high school and then returned to theatre studies. Angelina suffered a lot through low self-esteem and depression during her teen years, Angelina’s mother had a modest income whereas the other children in her Beverly Hills High School mostly belong from prosperous families which made Jolie feel isolated. The actress was teased and bullied by her fellow classmates on her physical traits, Angelina confessed that she even resorted to self-hurt.

Later her breakthrough role came in the year 1997 in the film George and Wallance in which she starred as Cornelia Wallace. In the next year, Jolie won a Golden Globe Award for best actress for her performance in the television film Gia.
In the early 2000s, Jolie was one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood and had average earnings of $30 million as stated by Forbes. Even today Angelina is one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood and has delivered several mindblowing performances.
