Queen Elizabeth’s big secret that left entire Royal Family surprised
Queen Elizabeth kept a big secret from her family that left them both surprised and shocked at the same time as the rest of the world.
Queen Elizabeth had one big royal secret that she didn’t tell some of her closest family members. In 2012, the late Queen appeared alongside James Bond, actor Daniel Craig, in a sketch to mark the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics Games.
Although royal fans across the globe were surprised, it appeared the Royal Family were in the same boat as they had no idea what the monarch had been up to. When the clip played, which showed Queen Elizabeth “skydive” into the Olympic Stadium after talking to James Bond, members of the Royal Family were left shocked by what they had just seen.

Princess Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, made the revelation while discussing her close relationship with her late grandmother on the White Wine Question Time podcast. Speaking of the Bond sketch, the mother of two said: “Nobody knew… it was amazing. We were all surprised.” Eugenie also went on to describe her grandmother as one of the “best people”. She said: “She was just one of the best people in the world.

“Her sense of duty and dedication and her love of her people, it really happened in public like you all saw, and it happened in private with us.” As well as taking part in the James Bond sketch, the late Queen also wowed her family for her 2022 Platinum Jubilee Celebrations when she appeared on TV screens yet again.
Senior members of the Royal Family, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were left delighted and surprised when a clip was played showing the late Queen having tea with Paddington Bear.
In the video, the late Queen took a marmalade sandwich out of her handbag after she was offered one by Paddington Bear. This was met with laughs from Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who watched the clip for the first time along with the rest of the world.
