Princess Charlotte’s adorable nickname that she goes by at school
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s only daughter has reportedly adopted a sweet nickname at school – one that allows her to blend in. Princess Charlotte is said to have adopted an adorable nickname at school. The young royal, eight, and her two brothers’ Prince George, 10, and Prince Louis, five, all attend Lambrook School in Berkshire.
Prince William and his wife Princess Kate are both known to want to keep their three children’s lives as normal as possible – including during their school life. Charlotte previously went under the name of ‘Charlotte Cambridge’, although since her parents’ became the Princess of Wales, the eight-year-old is now known as ‘Charlotte Wales’. But this isn’t the only way the adorable young royal has changed up her name. In 2019, during a visit to Northern Ireland, Princess Kate referred to her daughter as ‘Lottie’.
Experts have now come to the conclusion that Charlotte is likely known as ‘Lottie Wales’ at school. As well as Lottie, Charlotte also has a host of adorable nicknames – including a sweet one from her father Prince William. In 2019, during their appearance at the Chelsea Flower Show, William could be heard referring to his then-four-year-old daughter as ‘mignonette’ – a French word which means “small, sweet and delicate” or something “cute”.
However, Charlotte isn’t the only one to hold sweet nicknames, with both Prince George and Prince Louis also having their own. George is said to go by the nickname of ‘PG Tips’ due to his initials and, when in the company of close friends, he goes by ‘Tips’. It has previously been reported that Louis is sweetly referred to as ‘Lou-Lou’ by his two elder siblings.
