Prince William and Kate ‘couldn’t be more real’ after passionate polo PDA
The Princess of Wales cheered her husband on at the annual Outsourcing Inc. Royal Polo Cup and showed a moment of rare public affection for one another. The Prince and Princess of Wales showed they “couldn’t be any closer” as they put on a rare display of public affection this week, a body language expert has claimed. Princess Kate cheered on her husband Prince William as he took part in the annual Outsourcing Inc. Royal Polo Cup in Windsor.
After William’s team was victourious, the royal couple shared a sweet moment as Kate was seen kissing and embracing William as she congratulated him. Body language expert Darren Stanton said the couple “didn’t hold back from being affectionate, but respectful” in the rare display. The couple generally refrains from any heavy displays of physical affection while out and about due to royal protocol and instead they follow in the footsteps of the late Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip who almost never showed such gestures in public life.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Mr Stanton said the couple showed “how real their connection is” and that they “couldn’t be any closer together”. He said: “Kate does seem to be more confident than William with owning the room, and she’s very tactile with him. She was seen touching his arm and his elbow, and William reciprocated that as he didn’t hold back from being affectionate, but respectful with her in public.”
Mr Stanton continued: “The pair kissed each other’s cheeks, with Kate giving William’s arm a cheeky squeeze. The way they mirror each other perfectly shows how real their connection is. They couldn’t be any closer together.” Each year Prince William takes part in the charity polo match where they hope to raise £1 million for 11 different organisations the royals support. Wearing a baby blue midi-dress from royal favourite brand Belulah, Kate gazed on at her husband adoringly from the sidelines and drank a glass of champagne.
It wasn’t the first time the royals have shown a moment of rare public affection this week after Kate was spotted tapping Williams’s bum during the service of thanksgiving for King Charles in St Giles’ Cathedral in Scotland.
The Princess was spotting leaning over to her husband and appeared to whisper something in his ear whilst lighting tapping his backside. The couple was also seen giggling together as they sat next to the King and Queen before Charles was presented with the symbols of his authority in Scotland, the Sceptre and the Sword of State, known as the Honours of Scotland.
