James Middleton shows true colours after heartbreaking Queen Camilla announcement
Queen Camilla recently shared the heartbreaking news that one of her beloved dogs had died.
The Princess of Wales’s brother James Middleton has shared his support to Queen Camilla following the death of her beloved dog Beth. Queen Camilla, 77, recently shared the devastating news via a statement on social media. The royal revealed that Beth had to be put down after suffering from an untreatable tumour.
Sharing his thoughts on the Queen’s loss, James shared on his Instagram account that he was “saddened to hear” the heartbreaking news. In a post to his 352k followers, James wrote: “The reason, I think, that losing a dog often feels harder than losing a relative or a friend is because their love for us is uncomplicated. The simple request in life is that you love them back.”
He added: “I have written a piece in today’s Times on how I coped with the loss of Ella after I was saddened to hear of the passing of the Queens beloved Jack Russell. “I know it will resonate with many of you so on this stormy autumn day, get cosy and have a read.” The Queen is known to have adopted Beth when she was just 12 weeks old in 2011. As patron of the Battersea Dogs and Cats home, which is where she first adopted Beth, Queen Camilla also has another Jack Russell named Bluebell.
In a statement released earlier this month, Buckingham Palace said: “A sad farewell to Beth, The Queen’s much-loved companion from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire.”
Much like the Royal Family, James is a known for his love of animals. James, who is a father of one, currently has six dogs named Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, Nala, and Isla.
